Other Art and Projects

*page under construction – check back soon!*

Here are some of the other projects and websites I’ve been working on.

Websites

Life After Cats (a web comic of wish fulfillment in which I become a cat.)

Not Good Comics (comics that are simply not good. Don’t say you weren’t warned.)

The Daily Butt (an assortment of watercolor butts – classic AND classy!)

5 Star Graphic Novels (a very old site of book reviews for various graphic novels, all of which receive 5 stars)

Print Novels

I have published the following literary novels under pseudonyms:

Stone Blood

(Published as R.M. Green in 2014 by Big Buddy Publishing, ISBN 978-1-941877-01-2)

Tilman Burbeck’s first memory is a doctor telling him his blood is made of stones. So begins the life of an artist, complete with art that comes to life, a book that predicts the future and a demonic Muse. At least, that’s how Tilman remembers it. The one thing he remembers most, however, is Lila Thornton. He can call up every detail of their time together, even half a century later when most memories are a blur. Tilman realizes that something doesn’t add up. But if the details he recalls aren’t real, why did he paint this meticulous past? More importantly, what will he do when he uncovers the secret he worked so hard to conceal?

Caterpillars

Published as Claire Verdan in 2013 by Big Buddy Publushing (ISBN 978-1-941877-06-7)

Laura Boll is a graduate student and therapist at Chelsea University.  She has a typical, boring life with typical, boring problems: her work is uninspiring, her roommate is rude and she can’t seem to get a boyfriend.  But Laura’s boring life is thrown into disarray when she finds out one of her patients, Sylvia Blake, attempted suicide only hours after their last appointment.  With Sylvia in a coma and no way to know her true motivation, Laura becomes obsessed with discovering Sylvia’s secrets by whatever means necessary.  The only problem is, the closer she gets to Sylvia the farther she gets from herself.  In a journey of identity, empathy and self-discovery over the course of one eventful week, Laura is about to find out if you walk too far in someone else’s shoes, they just might become yours.
